On Monday, June 12th, Good Shepherd Catholic Regional School celebrated their graduating eighth graders at St. Joseph Church. Mass was celebrated by Rev. Ryan Simas, Pastor of St. Joseph Church. Rev. John Larochelle, Pastor of Divine Mercy Parish at St. Paul Church was co-celebrant and Deacon Mike Hafferty, of Divine Mercy Parish at St. Paul Church was Deacon of the Mass. The Good Shepherd Choir, under the direction of Mr. Leo Fontaine, provided the beautiful music for the mass.
Graduation exercises immediately followed the mass. Mrs. Jennifer DeOliveira, GWCRS Administrator and Principal of Good Shepherd’s Upper Campus presented diplomas to: Omar Abdelkhalek, Clara Lucia Cardone, Jordan Claire Date, Sofia Marie Diogo, Diesel Jackson Doris, Hunter Christian Doyle, Analia Marie Duran, Cordelia Rose Howard, Allison Paeres, Linda V. Pham, Karina Lynne Piette, James Thomas Soucy, Katelyn Marie Sylvestre-Snoek, Emyrson Kate Yuszczak.
The Valedictorian address was given by Jordan Date and Salutatorian address was given by Clara Cardone. Mrs. DeOliveira presented Student of the Year Awards to Hunter Doyle and Katelyn Sylvestre-Snoek. Students processed out of church to the school song “Beautiful City”.
